Our Commitment to Excellence

We are pleased to announce that MeKo has once again been successfully recertified to ISO 13485, the internationally recognized quality management standard for medical technology. Additionally, we have renewed our ISO 9001 certification, which ensures the high quality and efficiency of our general business processes – especially relevant for our MetalWorks division, which focuses on the production of high-quality industrial components.

Moreover, we have changed our certification body from ECM to DQS to ensure the highest levels of reliability and recognition. This switch allows us to maintain both ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certifications with a DAkkS-accredited certification body, further reinforcing our commitment to upholding the highest quality standards across all our business areas.

Laser Cutting
Precision in Focus

Laser cutting is our core expertise and one of the most versatile technologies in metal processing. Whether for 2D sheets or complex 3D components and tubes, our laser systems meet a variety of industrial requirements with maximum precision.

For 2D laser cutting, we process a wide range of materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, copper, and brass. With decades of experience, we manufacture components with intricate contours and tight tolerances down to just a few micrometers.

3D laser cutting expands the possibilities even further. With a working area of 2,600 x 1,100 x 700 mm and a maximum tube diameter of 260 mm, we can produce parts that require minimal or no post-processing.

• Enclosures and brackets with precise cutouts
• Components for special-purpose machinery
• Tube cutting for filters and medical instruments

Laser Welding
Joining the Future

For durable connections in metal components, laser welding is an essential technology at MeKo. It enables the permanent joining of parts – even for delicate structures or hard-to-reach areas. Our weld seams are extremely precise, media-tight, and meet the highest quality standards.

• 2D welding: Ideal for flat components and simple geometries
• 3D welding: Suitable for complex part geometries such as filter tubes or enclosures

Laser Drilling
Small Details, Big Impact

With laser drilling, we manufacture fine structures for components such as filters, sieves, and perforated sheets with outstanding precision.

Our capabilities include:

• Hole sizes starting from 60 µm (smaller diameters available on request)
• Processing of various materials, including steel, stainless steel, and ceramics
• Different component geometries: sheets, discs, cylinders, cones, hollow bodies, nozzles, and more
• High precision even at high perforation speeds
• Custom hole and slot geometries
• Drilling rates of several hundred holes per second, e.g., for filter and sieve production

With its combination of precision and flexibility, laser drilling is the ideal solution for numerous industrial applications.
