From Pioneer to Global Supplier

30 Years of Stent Manufacturing

At a career fair earlier this year, a mother visited our booth with her daughter to learn about training opportunities at MeKo. When she heard that we were one of the first to laser-cut stents back in 1995, she became visibly moved. She shared that her daughter, as a young child, had received one of the first kidney stents available and how grateful they had been for this treatment option.

In the fast pace of daily business, it’s important to keep our focus on the individual lives behind the devices we make. Encounters like this drive home the significance of our work and make us both proud and thankful for the lives we’ve been able to help improve.

DesignLab & MedLab

Two specialized MeKo services now have their own online presence – making it easier than ever to explore how we can support your projects at every stage.

MeKo DesignLab brings your ideas to life. We provide visualizations, ideation workshops, packaging designs, and many other design-focused solutions. Whether refining usability features or developing handles and medical device accessories, DesignLab helps our project engineers transform early concepts into well-engineered, ready-to-manufacture components.

Once your product is ready, MeKo MedLab is here to provide the testing and documentation needed for market approval. By combining production expertise with advanced test capabilities, we add a crucial step to the process chain – ensuring faster turnaround, consistent quality, and reduced complexity for our customers. From material verification to fatigue testing, MedLab supplies the technical evidence and reports needed to meet regulatory standards.
