Faster R&D Iterations 

New MeKo Webshop for MedTech Components 

Development teams need prototype components quickly to validate design ideas or test new device concepts. In early development phases, standardized components that realistically represent the final design are often sufficient to validate concepts and keep iterations moving.

More than 180 components will be available directly from stock, including standard dimensions of laser cut hypotubes and marker plates. Engineers can check availability, review pricing, and place orders immediately.

Fast shipping enables quick iteration and testing, even under tight timelines. All parts are manufactured within MeKo’s certified production environment, ensuring tight tolerances and reproducible quality aligned with series production.

If your concept proves successful, our engineering teams support the transition to customized components and scalable series production.

Collaboration Across the MedTech Ecosystem 

PRIME, Podcast Insights and our US Team 

Strong collaboration across the MedTech value chain is becoming increasingly important, especially when it comes to critical materials such as Nitinol. One example is the PRIME project, where companies from across the Nitinol supply chain work together to improve transparency and reliability in material sourcing. 

In a recent episode of the MedTech Unboxed podcast, hosted by Steve Maxson, our CEO Jakob Dohse shares insights into how this initiative came together and why cooperation between industry players can benefit the entire ecosystem. 

At the same time, our presence in North America continues to grow. MeKo MedTech Inc., established about a year ago, helps connect customers in the United States directly with MeKo’s engineering and manufacturing expertise in Germany.

Laura Veneracion and Tim Fries work closely with development teams to evaluate project ideas, identify feasible manufacturing approaches, and guide projects toward scalable production solutions.

New PolyMediX® Insights Series 

Polymers are becoming increasingly important in medical device development. From coatings to functional surfaces, they enable new device concepts and expanded treatment options.

To explore these topics in more detail, we recently launched a LinkedIn article series dedicated to PolyMediX®, highlighting different aspects of polymer technologies and their role in modern MedTech manufacturing. 

The series covers topics such as polymer coatings, material behavior, and design considerations for polymer-based components. Each article offers practical insights into how these technologies can support device performance and manufacturability.
