Future Day 2025

Today, 22 students took a look behind the scenes at MeKo during the nationwide FutureDay2025. With a hands-on program and plenty of inspiration, we introduced them to the world of high-precision manufacturing for medical devices.

The day began with an interactive Q&A session with our CEO Jakob Dohse, followed by four hands-on stations:

• Laser processing
• Mechanical manufacturing
• Materials research
• Shape setting technology

From simulating a stent implantation to creating personal keepsakes at each station – the participants explored what modern medical technology is all about. And of course, there was room for a break: freshly made crêpes ensured everyone stayed energized.

We’re proud of our team, whose commitment and passion made this event possible – and we’re excited that so many young talents showed such curiosity and engagement. Who knows – perhaps one or two will return in a few years as future colleagues.
