On Tuesday, May 19th 2026 the IHK Hannover hosts its regional annual reception at Halle 39 in Hildesheim. The evening opens with addresses by Gerhard Oppermann (President of IHK Hannover) and Karsten Krüger (Vice President).
The subsequent panel 'Wirtschaft unter Strom: Perspektiven und Erfolge' is moderated by Maike Bielfeldt (Managing Director of IHK Hannover) and brings together Ottmar von Holtz (State Commissioner for Regional Development Leine-Weser), Dr. Jakob Dohse (Managing Director of MeKo Manufacturing, Sarstedt) and Dr. Kai Schiefelbein (CEO of the Stiebel-Eltron Group) for a discussion of the region's economic outlook.
Followed by a reception with refreshments and conversation from approximately 19:30.
