Precision at Scale Orthotic and Prosthetic Systems

Orthotics and prosthetics cover a broad range of manufacturing needs: from highly customized parts to large quantities of defined geometries and sizes with tight tolerances.

This is where MeKo combines extensive experience in processing a wide range of metals and sheet thicknesses with scalable production capabilities. Typical components include side bars, joint and adapter components, connectors and spring elements.

When needed, we support customers with design-for-manufacturing considerations and help align material selection, component design and downstream processing steps with series production. Laser cutting, bending, laser welding and additional processes can all be combined through a single manufacturing partner. At the same time, our quality management system is certified to ISO 13485.

For manufacturers of orthotic and prosthetic systems, this means high-volume production, broad material capabilities and controlled manufacturing processes from a single source.

Celebrating 35 Years Together

This summer, we welcomed our colleagues and their families to our headquarters in Sarstedt for a summer celebration.

To mark the occasion, our employees gave our founder Clemens Meyer-Kobbe and CEO Jakob Dohse a young Ginkgo tree. Known for its longevity and resilience, it now has a permanent place on the MeKo grounds as a symbol of what has grown over many years and is meant to continue for many more.
