MeKo Components Now Available on Chamfr®
You can now find selected MeKo components on Chamfr, giving development teams another direct way to source parts for prototyping and early-stage projects.
The initial launch includes generic stents, heart valve frames, laser-cut hypotubes, and marker cards in different materials, sizes, and patterns. Especially for US-based development teams, this creates a convenient new way to source components for prototyping and early-stage projects.
And if a standard part is only the starting point, our team is still here to support the next steps with customized designs, engineering input and follow-up development.
SpotlightPrecision Components for Orthoses and Prostheses
Webshops like Chamfr give development teams quick access to standard components for prototyping and proof of concept. Orthotics and prosthetics often sit at the other end of the spectrum: highly customized parts on one side, and large quantities of defined geometries and sizes on the other.
Our new brochure gives a quick overview of MeKo’s broad range of capabilities in this field, from foot plates and side bars to joint components, connectors and spring elements.
Micron-Level Precision with ChoiceHow to Make Miniaturization Manufacturable
MeKo is supporting Choice in the development of a micro-mechanical contraceptive implant with a diameter of just 1.6 mm. Within this small space, a Nitinol structure, spring mechanism and valve element need to work together with high precision. From laser cutting and shape setting to electropolishing and laser micro-welding, our role is to help turn the concept into a manufacturable solution from an early stage of development.
“Without MeKo, we would not have been able to achieve this level of miniaturization.”
This summer, we celebrated 35 years of MeKo together with our colleagues and their families at our headquarters in Sarstedt.
To mark the occasion, our employees gave our founder Clemens Meyer-Kobbe and CEO Jakob Dohse a young Ginkgo tree. Known for its longevity and resilience, it now has a permanent place on the MeKo grounds as a symbol of what has grown over many years and is meant to continue for many more.
Next time you visit us in Sarstedt, keep an eye out for it.
Upcoming Events
Our event calendar is packed this fall. We look forward to meeting customers, partners and industry experts across Europe and the United States.
