One Sheet, 35 Years of MeKo

Originally created for our 30th anniversary, our notebox recently received an update to mark 35 years of MeKo.
What looks like a simple everyday helper starts as a single thin sheet of stainless steel. The contour, anniversary detail, and weight-reducing pattern in the base are laser cut first. The edges are then carefully finished before several bending steps turn the flat sheet into its final shape.
No welding. No additional joining. The stability comes from the way the individual sections are designed and bent into place.
It might seem simple, but that is exactly what we like about it. Laser cutting, edge finishing, and bending are all typical processes in our MetalWorks production, brought together in something you can use every day.
Sometimes the best way to show what manufacturing can do is to put the result right on your desk.
